How American Christian Singles Can Find The Relationship They Are Looking For

American Christian singles face an interesting challenge in today’s dating market. How can a Christian single compete for the attention of a desirable woman and still maintain his Christian values?

The biggest problem I see facing American Christian singles is that the feel like to attract a woman - especially a Christian woman, they they need to be a “Nice Guy.” They don′t want to be known as a jerk or a bad boy. They think that by being nice then Christian single women will be attracted to them because they are “supposed to.”

The trouble is guys, God did not make women that way. he created them to be attracted to dominant males who can ensure her security. That means both her physical security and her emotional security. He did not make women to be attracted to wusses. Not even American Christian single wusses.

So if you want to learn to attract a Christian single woman, you are going to have to learn how to attract women in general. There is plenty of good advice on the internet, but there is also a lot of bad advice. So how do you know who to listen to?

First, you need to find a mentor. Find someone who knows something about women. The best mentors I have found for American Christian singles is an older couple who has been married a long time. Make sure they are really a happy couple.

Study their interactions. What you will observe is that the wife is eager and happy to please her husband. This may not sound politically correct these days, but you will see it in older happy couples. It is why she is eager to please him that you need to learn.

She will feel happy when she is pleasing her husband because he makes her feel secure and safe. She wants to make sure that he stays happy with her so he keeps her safe and not someone else. Women are very competitive when it comes to their men.

You will notice that the older husband easily makes decisions. He always considers and values his wife’s opinion , but he makes his own decision. He never ever asks his wife’s permission to do something. He simply informs her of his decision. If she has an objection, he will listen and then make a new decision. That may be the same decision or a different one, but it is always his decision.

Women are attracted to dominant secure men who generate a feeling of safety and security in a woman. Be that man and there will be no shortage of American Christian single women knocking on your door.

Hottest Trends In Wedding Flowers

Gone are the days when traditional white on white ceremonies would take place and the only flowers that would adorn wedding ceremonies would be roses. Of course, roses are still a popular choice but flowers are acquiring a brand new dimension in the wedding ceremony today. Try to envision the kind of wedding you desire. What is the theme, the mood, the kind of color scheme, and the size and budget of the ceremony you plan to have? Which flowers do you see at your wedding?

Apart from just having a roses and lilies affair, brides are experimenting with bolder palettes like reds, burgundies, even oranges and blues! The changes are not just in the palettes, but in the flowers themselves. Today exotic flowers which in earlier times were considered to be a luxury, are more easily available. Pastel flowers are being replaced by a profusion of color and brightly hued daffodils, poppies, lavender, verbenas, irises and amaryllises are capturing the imagination of many brides who want to give a unique look to their wedding.

If it has to be roses, there are many kinds of exotic and hybrid roses that add a spark to the traditional. Try purple or even hot pink Ecuadorian roses! Calla lilies though expensive are really beautiful and stylish looking. They are available in a host of different colors apart from white and cream like wine, purple and cream, pink, peach and even black. Peruvian lilies are not just pretty but also very feminine and have a brighter palette too.

There are many other novelty flowers and if you are having a beach wedding try for many hued orchids, Micronesian gingers, dendrobiums, heliconias and calatheas. These are also available strung into leis for Hawaiian weddings along with traditional Hawaiian Tei leaves. If you wish to make your reception tables décor and bouquets, you can also make a simple and tasteful statement by tying together bunches of small colorful flowers. Consider phlox, statice, larkspur, thistle, baby’s breath and even Stephanotis with a few stalks of Freesias which are available in so many different colors like creams, whites, pinks, purples and yellows and look really nice bunched together.

If you have chosen your wedding colors, your floral theme can be entirely based on the freshness of the season you are marrying in. Winter brides can have themselves a snowy ceremony with whites and pale colors contrasting with red poinsettias. While summer and spring brides may go with the aliveness of the season’s purples and citrus shades. Fall weddings can take their inspiration with the colors that surround them in the form of deep rusts, golds, burgundies and warm colors. Buying local flowers or seasonal flowers can prove to be very cost effective too. Also research the various meanings of flowers that have been part of lore and legend from medieval times.

Don’t think about just having one type of flower or color running across the whole reception venue. If you want to segregate certain areas, visually using your floral arrangements is a novel way to do so. For example, if you are using peonies, there are so many different varieties and shades of peonies so you can have dynamic settings of different peonies playing with the heights as well as the colors to differentiate between areas like scarlet peonies in walkways and creams on ledges.

Also think about different ways of arrangements. Adding herbs, berries, fruits and vegetables in flower arrangements adds a dash of playfulness to the setting. Green ivy, grasses, and also bamboo is becoming commonplace in wedding flower arrangements. Bamboo trellises and arbors are being created on a small scale to match wedding décor. Even tabletop decorations are undergoing a revamp with flowers being arranged in wine glasses, tea cups and terracotta pottery painted to match the décor are really inexpensive and unique. Watering cans and antique milk cans and even wooden pails are awesome with a rustic look.

Many brides and grooms are opting out of natural flowers completely, choosing silk flowers over natural blooms. Silk flowers and even silk petals are available that will not only be a boon to you or your groom if any of you suffer from allergies or if you dislike any insects that can be present in natural flowers, then you may consider these as an extremely low cost and wise option. Artificial flowers look just like the real thing, can be scented to suit you, are long lasting, and also be maintenance free.

Apart from just silk, you will also have paper flowers, wax flowers or even flowers made of plastic, soap and many other materials, choose the material that will be durable and will be most apt. Of course, if you have clay flowers which are hand painted they are excellent wedding favors.

Finally, get the flower power right and have a wonderful wedding scented with love.

Summertime Wedding Cakes….The Perfect Choice for Your Summer Wedding

Summer is wedding season. The airy attitude of summer will be reflected in your wedding’s color scheme, menu, and location. Another way to emphasize summer is with a beautifully seasonal wedding cake.

When we think summer, we think fun in the water and on the beach. You can echo this theme on your cake. The ocean connotes timelessness and eternity, as well as suggesting our origins. All these images are perfect for a wedding. The muted, elegant tones of a beach can be carried through to your cake. Picture an ivory or pearl colored cake with edible “pearls” and sugar “sand” sprinkled all over. Add some real or faux seashells and starfish for decoration, and you will have a cake that’s simple but stunning.

Or, you can take advantage of summertime’s clear, vibrant colors for your cake. The bright blue of the sky, dotted with flouncy white clouds would be perfect colors for a summer wedding cake. Roses this time of year bloom in bright yellow, mimicking the sun. Wild roses, found at the height of summer, are often a true, bright pink. Your florist and baker can give you further ideas for seasonal flowers that might cascade from the topper down the sides of the cake. Consider a wedding cake that’s topped with and surrounded by beautiful berries. Berries come in all vibrant shades of red, purple, and blue, and are perfect for summertime. Remember to keep the colors pure and bright. Leave the dark or muted tones for winter and fall.

Regarding flavors, pumpkin, carrot, and maple are reminiscent of fall. For summertime you want brighter, lighter flavors. Lemon, raspberry, and coconut are among the flavors that shout summertime. You might even consider a light milk chocolate cake with mint frosting, as cool mint thrives during the hot summer months. In addition to keeping the flavor light, you’ll want a texture to your cake that’s airy. Now is not the time for creamy, rich cheesecake. Instead, opt for cakes with an angel-food lightness to them.

To break with tradition and be truly focused on summertime, consider an ice cream cake. These are becoming more and more popular, and can be created to look as beautiful as any traditional wedding cake. It might take a bit of research to find a chef, but imagine your guest’s surprise and delight when they realize they’ll be treated to ice cream.

A few don′t for the icing: whipped cream will not last long in the heat. Fondant is a great icing, but tends to form droplets of condensation. The taste and texture of fondant will quickly be compromised in the heat. Cream cheese frosting is simply too heavy and sweet for summertime. The frosting that will hold up the best and be most appropriate in every way is buttercream frosting. In addition, it doesn′t need to be held at a cold temperature to stay safe.

Dream about the flavors, textures, and activities you enjoyed during the summer as a child. Go from there to create a perfect summertime wedding cake.

Interfaith Marriage - How to Plan an Interfaith Wedding Ceremony

Let’s face it – the world just isn’t as big as it used to be. As a testament to the earth’s seemingly shrinking waistline, more and more young men and women are finding true love outside their faith – and making it work. Yet no matter how progressive you and your families may be, the peaceful merging of two religions can prove an ambitious undertaking. Take a deep breath, remind yourself that love is the end goal, and get ready to celebrate a marriage made in heaven, er, make that two heavens.

Interfaith wedding ceremonies pose a few planning challenges. Here is some advice to get you started:

Do Some Soul Searching -
If you’ve been neglecting your spiritual side, it’s time to get reacquainted. Assess your beliefs and the role you see them playing in your life. How important to you is it that your wedding ceremony reflects your religious background? How willing are you to compromise for your fiancé’s beliefs or family? Know your personal stance on faith and religion, so you can speak candidly with your fiancé and your families and make decisions accordingly.

Talk it Over -
After you’ve come to terms with your own spirituality, you and your fiancé need to have an honest discussion about religion. Although you should have broached the topic at some point during your relationship, now a wedding ceremony and marriage loom, adding a sense of urgency. During your internal reflection, you may have discovered your own views altering a bit, and he may feel the same. Discuss together your values, and identify what traditions are most meaningful for each of you to incorporate into your wedding ceremony and marriage.

Invite the Families -
Combining two sets of traditions while keeping the peace with both families can be tricky. Invite both sides to listen to your ideas and contribute their expectations for your wedding day. You’d be surprised how an honest group discussion can bring about solutions once deemed elusive. As the happy couple, you and your fiancé should be prepared to discuss openly your choices, but you should also be receptive to their viewpoints. Be honest, open and supportive, and make sure that your ceremony plans are agreeable (or at least livable) for everyone.

Get the Right Officiant(s) -
While many officiants do not perform interfaith weddings – or only do so with restrictions – just as many specialize in interfaith wedding ceremonies. If either of you has a relationship with the clergy at your respective place of worship, consult with that him or her first. Even if your clergy is unable to perform the service, he or she should be able to evaluate your situation with an open mind and make suggestions and recommendations. Many religious and interfaith organizations maintain lists of clergy who will officiate at interfaith ceremonies. You will also find a valuable resource in your local newspaper’s wedding announcements. Search for the names of officiants who have conducted interfaith ceremonies.

Get Counseled -
Counseling sessions, often recommended before a wedding regardless of the couple’s religion, offer a good opportunity for a bride and groom to not only learn about the other’s faith, but also to consider ways to merge traditions or celebrations during the ceremony. Since religion won’t disappear after your wedding day, counseling sessions also offer insight to other situations that may arise in your marriage, including raising children.

Plan a Fusion Ceremony -
Consult your officiant(s) and families for advice in designing a ceremony that incorporates both faiths and cultures. Determine which customs are personally significant, and select rituals and readings together. Continue this blending of cultures into the reception, and design a menu of personalized fusion cuisine – think egg rolls with a side of Spanakopita.

Reassure the Family -
As your wedding plans unfold, remember to pause from time to time and check in with your families, especially if the news of an interfaith wedding was an initial shock for either side. Continue to keep them involved and informed throughout the planning process. Spend quality time together, and if logistics allow, plan some group get-togethers.

Reassure Yourselves -
Along those lines – don’t forget to reassure each other along the way, as uncertainty can creep in with potential roadblocks and planning challenges. Don’t stress that you’re losing your religion, because your not. Remember to always keep the focus on the marriage of two people in love, and rejoice that you now have two great traditions from which to draw your spiritual inspiration. Delight in a spiritually rich life and future to come!

Dating Advice for Boomer Women - Adopt the Dating State of Mind

If you want to be in a relationship, the first step to your search is getting into a dating state of mind. I call this Adopting Dater’s Mind. When you have dater’s mind, you think of yourself as someone who dates. Sounds silly huh? Not really. If you don’t think of yourself this way, then you probably aren’t connected to your feminine allure either.

Now that’s a problem. It makes dating much more of a struggle.

Without feeling attractive, knowing that you are worthy, that men will notice you, and approach you, it’s pretty hard to jump the gap to actually getting out there and meeting prospects. I’m working with a woman right now who hasn’t been doing her coaching homework. She claims she is too busy, but this is a smoke screen.

How do I know? From talking with over 1,000 women you catch on. Either she doesn’t really want to date, it’s not one of her biggest priorities or in this case - she doesn’t see herself as someone who dates!

Yikes!

The solution? Get connected with your allure ASAP. And here’s how:
1) Pampering - from getting a new hairstyle, new color, highlights, facial, new makeup, make over, manicure and pedicure - anything that beautifies will increase your self-esteem and make you feel more beautiful. When you think you look good - YOU DO! 80% of your beauty is how you feel about yourself. Keep that in mind.

2) Is your underwear drawer filled with old cotton comfy favorites? Go get some new lingerie please! It doesn’t have to be expensive. If you don’t want to take a trip to Victoria’ s Secret, then try Marshalls or TJMaxx (two of my personal favorites). I’m not talking about thongs or being uncomfortable. Get some color, satin or lace and wear them to work!

3) What do you like about yourself? Do you appreciate who you are? Pick out one feature and be thankful for it every day for 7 days. Then pick something else to appreciate. This builds your self-esteem and gets you in touch with what makes you attractive. And once again, feeling good about yourself shows - it becomes the non-verbal message you send out into the Universe.

4) Believe connecting with a good man is possible. If you doubt you can find one, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Chapter seven in my book MANifesting Mr. Right gives you 7 powerful MANifesting techniques that I used and plenty of successful clients have also used to start believing and attracting him into your life. Believing is crucial for your success.

All four of these tips will heighten your allure and keep the idea of being someone who dates front and center in your awareness. And that is just what you want. Whatever you put your attention is usually what you get. So start developing Dater’s Mind to attract the love you want. Do it for yourself today.

Using Seduction Tricks and Techniques To Attract Women

If all a man wants from a woman is sex, using seduction routines, tricks, or techniques is an easy and simple way to accomplish just that.

However, at some point for many men, meaningless sex with women isn’t really all that important anymore.

Instead, they choose to go on a search to attract the women of their dreams; or what happens in a lot of cases is they hook up with the woman that they think is the one and want to keep her.

The only problem is their true self is nowhere close to the man they portray themselves to be when using seduction routines, tricks, and techniques on women.

Now, this wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for two things:

Quality women can tell after a certain amount of time when a man is just using tricks and stuff to get herWomen who for whatever reason never quite figure it out are of the quality that would not make you want to stick around. In other words, if all you have is a memorized routine or trick of seduction, when the time comes to actually attract her for the long term you won’t have anything worth giving and you will turn right back into the weak man that you really are.

It is important to understand, if you aren’t having sex with women right now, then by all means go and learn as well as use the tricks, techniques, and routines proven to get men laid.

However, at some point, you must begin to actually improve and strengthen yourself so that if you ever choose to settle down, you will be able to attract the quality of women that you want.

In fact, even if you never decide to “settle down” you should still improve yourself so that when you go out you will simply be using yourself to attract and seduce women instead of some seduction trick, technique, or routine.

Bridal showers are special occasions when friends and family gather to shower the bride with gifts. Many people enjoy giving personalized gifts that help the bride set up a new home. These creative wedding gift baskets are filled with practical yet unique items and are perfect for bridal showers:

1. Kitchen Pantry Starter

Does the bride love to cook? A Kitchen Pantry Starter gift basket is a wonderfully thoughtful gift. Line a large willow basket with linen napkins or decorative hand towels. Add a recipe card box (you could ask shower attendees to bring their favorite recipes to fill the box). Complement the recipe box with gourmet spices and artisan salts. Use themes for your spices or throw in a mix of the basic essentials. Add kitchen tools such as a spice mill or an apron (perhaps monogrammed) and you have the perfect gift.

2. Cookie Essentials

What is better than freshly baked cookies? Find a cookie-themed cookbook to serve as the central point of this basket. It’s the Heart (and heat) of the Wedding Season - Sun & Heat Protection During an Outdoor Wedding

So, you decided to opt for an outdoor wedding under the sun amidst the lake, ocean or beach. Are you sure you have considered all the aspects of an outdoor wedding? Did you consider the fact that you and your guests are going to be outside for many hours throughout the day in the beating hot sun? Some people worry so much that it’s going to rain or be cold that they completely forget to prepare themselves for the sun and the heat. The last thing you want is for you or your guests to be burnt for pictures and leave the wedding early because they are sun-fried. So here are some sun protection tips to keep in mind whether you’re the bride, groom or guest at an outdoor wedding:

Do not tan in a salon or outdoor prior to the wedding. Tanning of any sort is bad for your skin and can cause peeling right before the wedding.

If you want to get the outdoor tanned look, opt for self-tanning products that will give you the same effect without harming your skin. There are many lotions and foams that work wonders on the skin.

Make sure you apply sunscreen numerous times throughout the day. Encourage your guests to do so as well. Indicate on the invitation that the wedding is outdoors and remind them to bring sunscreen. Here’s an idea - hand out small decorative bottles of sunscreen as an early wedding favor for your guests.

Try and avoid the sun as much as possible between the hours of 10am and 4pm. The sun’s rays are strongest at these times. Perhaps it’s a good idea to get pictures closer to the morning or early afternoon, before anyone is too tired (or burnt) from the sun.

Pack (and tell your guests to pack) cover-ups, shawls, wraps and hats for protection against the heat of the sun. Shawls are perfect for covering up your shoulders since they are a prime area for burns.

The coordinator of the wedding should ensure there are tents and umbrellas for shade. This is very important because spending the entire day in the sun with no shade can cause heat exhaustion and be harmful to your health.

Finally, make sure there is plenty of water for you and your guests. There’s nothing worse than being hot and thirsty. Lack of water can cause dehydration which can be very dangerous for you and your guests. Have water coolers setup in different areas so they are easily accessible for everyone.

Keep in mind the precautions listed above. It will ensure that your wedding goes smoothly for you and your guests. After all, it is the most important day of your life and you don’t want to take any chances of something ruining your special day!
